This website "Women Entrepreneurs Who RV" evolved from a Facebook group by this name. The Facebook group is about and for women who are involved in their own business or dreaming of starting their own business, and women who love to travel or hope someday to travel. But this website is open to anyone who desires to read and glean what they can to enrich their own lives.
In the Facebook group, both married and singles are welcome. Also welcome are fill-time or part-time entrepreneurs and full-time or part-time travelers, and those who are still working towards becoming entrepreneurs and travelers.
The name of the Facebook group includes RVing, but in truth our members love any type of travel, planes, trains, cars, and of course RVs, just where ever our feet will take us. Wether we travel just occasionally or full-time, we all share the joy and love of travel.
We are not lone entities some of us are in business with husbands, family members or friends, and that is okay, the Facebook group is women helping other women to embrace the entrepreneur life while traveling, and our family and friends are part of our lives. The group is also about helping aspiring entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of business ownership and travel.
This website "Women Entrepreneurs Who RV" is an off-shoot of a Facebook Group of the same name.

Women Entrepreneurs
Who RV
As a long time Entrepreneur and RVer, I know both the joys and freedom along with the loneliness and hardships this life sometimes rains. Thankfully I have a husband, because it is a bit easier if you have a spouse or family member, or even a best friend involved, but even with a partner there is stress, sometime conflict, burnout, and hardest for me, decision making. I love the line in the movie “You’ve Got Mail”: “The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee.” That’s how I feel about being an entrepreneur. I have trouble making decisions yet here I am with marketing decisions, advertising, bookkeeping, buying and selling decisions, and at the end of a long day trying to decide what to prepare for dinner. LOL
So why in heck would anyone want to be an entrepreneur? Oh my, there are so many answers that a single statement could never cover them all, but for women I feel a big part is having some independence and control, and striving for self-esteem. But becoming an entrepreneur can have the opposite result, with the business controlling us, controlling our time, causing severe depression and crushing loneliness, then leaving us to suffer in solitude.
I am blessed with a good family, good friends, and wonderful cousins that I very much enjoy. My Facebook page is peppered with friends from school and college, and new friends I’ve made along the way. But if I start talking web design, their ears clog up. If I talk eBay selling they seem interested for a minute and then the change-the-subject look sweeps over them. I don’t dare discuss Network Marketing or Direct Sales, they would run for the hills. LOL
Thanks to the Internet there are now many ways to find kindred souls. There are Meetup Groups, Facebook Groups, sites like Twitter and LinkedIn, and we can now easily Google to look for local groups for our interests and hobbies. And with that lovely thing called email we can be have pens-pals all over the world.
The matching “Women Entrepreneurs Who RV” Facebook group is about sharing and caring. It is a place to be heard, to share about your goals and achievements, your hard times and good times, to share our love for RVing and travel, to practice your product or service sells pitch and share links to your business, and to offer help to others by sharing information, suggestions, and links to helpful resources.
There is a degree of anonymity with the Internet which sometimes allows us to open up and share what normally we would not. This online sharing can be a healing release even if there are no answers, no physical help, just knowing that someone in a group listened can allow you to exhale and breath a sigh of relief.
Being a member of a group of people who are on a similar quest can be profound and up-lifting. Each time you read someone else’s story, you know you are not alone, others are experiencing similar struggles and joys. And your stories will have a like effect on other people’s lives. It is all about sharing and caring.
I love this Zig Ziglar quote: “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”
You don’t need to walk the entrepreneurial journey all alone. We are with you. Perhaps only in spirit, but just know there are others that share your “road less traveled” living this entrepreneurial lifestyle. The entrepreneurial spirit made America great, and whether we succeed in business big or small we give encouragement to all the entrepreneurs yet to come!
Give of yourself. — Invest in yourself. — Be caring and sharing.
