Being an Entrepreneur in most cases means meeting people. Even if you are a manufacturer or wholesaler you still have to advertise and have your "product" meet people. So far in this world we do not have independent robots buying our stuff, so for now people do the buying.
Some people are gregarious and just naturally communicate and attract others, and many of those are even natural-born sales people. For the rest of us it is work. Putting ourselves out there and meeting people is something to be learned. So, let's learn.

There are many ways to meet people and find customers like events, fairs, even just the grocery store, but this page is about joining groups, both locally and online.
Locally
You do not have to stick with groups that are related to your products, any group that interests you can be a source of contact for your products and services. Joining the Lions Club probably has nothing to do with your product, but it can be a good source for contacting people, and as bonus you may make new friends and learn about other people and what they are doing.
To find these groups, check local shopper papers that often list meeting times, contact the Chamber-of-Commerce, Google for local business groups, and of course, search out groups that are of special interest to you, such as quilting and photography. Depending on your special interests, there may be national or regional organizations that also list local groups, like numismatics and crafting.
